Specialty Balloon Printers are inflating Chicks in Pink

Local business Specialty Balloon Printers print over 5 million balloons each year, and this year all the balloons they print for Chicks in Pink will be donated to the volunteer based, not-for-profit organisation that supports breast cancer patients at the Mater Hospital.

Chicks in Pink, in conjunction with Lunatic Fringe hair salon, will hold Pink Angels Day in Clayfield this year. Specialty Balloon Printers will be providing balloons to help promote the event.

“We couldn’t be more proud helping out local businesses support this great charity,” says Ty Bramley, Specialty Balloon Printers owner. “Breast cancer touches most people at some stage in their lives, and we need to raise as much money as we can to help Chicks in Pink.”

Every day in Australia, approximately 36 women discover they have breast cancer. This year alone, more than 13,000 women will learn they have the disease. While early detection and medical advancements have enabled higher survival rates, the road to physical and mental recovery is still long and often lonely.

Proceeds from the Chicks in Pink lottery assist the 700 breast cancer patients that come to the Mater every year and is an initiative of the Mater Foundation with Chicks in Pink.
